Military Discount Disneyland Tickets
The Happiest Place on Earth is more than happy to help our military men and women share the magic of Mickey with their families. Let’s face it – we all would love a cheaper price for Disneyland tickets, but who deserves it more than those who fight for our freedom? That’s why Disneyland offers a deal that can’t be beat for their military discount Disneyland tickets.
Military discount Disneyland tickets extend to both active and retired military personnel and their spouses. The price is truly a great deal. Right now, members of the U.S. military can purchase a 3-day park hopper ticket for just $129. That may sound like a lot of money, but it is an incredible discount from the $260 regular rate for a 3-day park hopper ticket to Disneyland. Heck, just a 1-day park hopper ticket for non-military members is more at $137.
Now there IS one big difference between the military discount Disneyland tickets and the regular 3-day park hopper for Disneyland – Magic Morning is NOT included. Even so, you can’t really beat this deal unless you are getting into the parks for free. You still can hop between both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park for three whole days.
The other restriction on these tickets is there are a few blackout dates. Now these are understandable, since they are during extreme peak times for the Disneyland parks. The military discount park hoppers cannot be used December 19-31 of 2013 for the Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations. The other restricted days are April 13-20, 2014 and July 4, 2014. Otherwise, the calendar is wide open.
The current deal is available until September 25, 2014, so there is plenty of time to take advantage of the enormous savings and enjoy some serious fun with your family and friends at Disneyland at a seriously low price.
So just who is eligible for these tickets? As I mentioned before, active or retired military members; this doesn’t just include the four core branches, but also the National Guard, Reserves and Coast Guard. You must be able to show a valid military or military spouse identification to be able to take advantage of the savings and any guests you take with you, must enter the parks with you as well.
Just how many of these tickets can you get? The cap is six per ID. That easily covers most families; if it doesn’t cover yours, just take some of the HUNDREDS of dollars you just saved on the military discount and buy a full-priced ticket.
The military discount Disneyland tickets can be bought through military sales outlets. The tickets can be used through September 27, 2014. You can’t get any additional discounts on the tickets, but you really don’t need them.
Disneyland Resort does also offer a military discount on their room rates during this promotional time as well. So if you are visiting, you may want to check those out too. If you have any questions, you can contact your U.S. military base ticket office. Make sure to have a magical time with your family – and say hi to Mickey for me!
